Which one fits

Tonic is built for a company's data team; dbplex for the developer who needs a safe copy today.

Pick Tonic if

  • You need audited tooling: SOC 2 and HIPAA audits, BAAs, SSO and role-based access.
  • You de-identify data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks or BigQuery.
  • You need subsetting and synthetic data across a whole organisation.

Pick dbplex if

  • You want masked data on your own Mac today, without a sales call.
  • You want a price on the page and a trial with no card.
  • You need Firestore, Redis, DynamoDB or Turso, which Structural's connector list does not include.
  • You want your AI agent on the copy through MCP.
